Sandra A. Miller is a writer and essayist with work in over a hundred publications, including the Christian Science Monitor, the Boston Globe Magazine, NPR, Spirituality & Health, Yankee, and Modern Bride. She also wrote award-winning scripts for 11 Central Ave., a popular radio comic strip. One of her essays was made into a short film—Wait—directed by Trudie Styler and starring Kerry Washington. Miller has lived and worked in many cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Luxembourg. She is the author of the memoir Trove: A Woman's Search for Truth and Buried Treasure. Currently, she teaches English at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
