Joshua Goldstein is a scholar, professor, and writer with expertise in international relations, world order, and climate change. His work, which has earned him a MacArthur Foundation Individual Research and Writing Grant and the International Studies Association’s Karl Deutsch Award, has appeared in Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, the New York Times, the Washington Post, American Political Science Review, Journal of Conflict Resolution, and International Studies Quarterly. With a PhD from MIT, Goldstein has also won the American Political Science Association’s Victoria Schuck Award and is listed in Who’s Who In America. He is the author of War and Gender, which won the International Studies Association’s Book of the Decade; Winning the War on War, which was the Conflict Research Society’s 2013 Book of the Year; and the widely used textbook, International Relations. His most recent release, A Bright Future, is said by former head of the NASA Goddard Institute to “lay out the only viable path that has been proposed for rapid global decarbonizations.”
