Jessica Lander is a writer and a highschool teacher who currently lives in her hometown of Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has taught all over the world, including in Thailand and Cambodia, and her work has featured in the Boston Globe Magazine, Huffington Post, Usable Knowledge, and other publications. Lander co-authored Powerful Partnerships: A Teacher’s Guide to Engaging Families for Student Success with Karen Mapp and Ilene Carver and wrote the nonfiction book Driving Backwards, about Gilmanton, New Hampshire, once America’s most famous town.
