Edwin Hill is the author of the Hester Thursby mystery series. A graduate of Wesleyan University, he earned an MFA from Emerson College, working in Boston in educational publishing. His Hester Thursby series chronicles a four-foot-ten Harvard librarian who searches for missing people. His first novel, Little Comfort, finds Hester searching for her employer’s lost brother, who in the end doesn’t wish to be found, and the case itself reveals a trail of vicious murders. The Missing Ones, his most recent volume, picks up where the first left off, with Hester on a faraway island searching for lost children. His work has appeared in Wesleyan Magazine, LA Review of Books, Career Authors, and Ellery Queen Mystery, and he has been featured on CrimeReads, WritersBone.com, and The Sun Chronicle. Currently he lives in Roslindale.
