Christopher Boucher is a novelist, editor, and professor. He is author of the novels How To Keep Your Volkswagen Alive, about a man grieving the losses of his father and ‘60s Volkswagen Beetle, and Golden Delicious, about a Massachusetts town torn apart by economic strife. Also the editor of Jonathan Lethem’s More Alive and Less Lonely, Boucher received his MFA in creative writing from Syracuse University. His most recent release, Big Giant Floating Head, is about a man dealing with a series of catastrophes in the small town of Coolidge. Author George Saunders lauded that “Boucher makes the world come alive by making language come alive.” Boucher, who lives in Northampton, currently teaches writing and literature at Boston College.
