Brian Rosenwald is a co-editor of Washington Post’s Made By History section and a historical consultant for the Slate podcast Whistlestop. A senior fellow at the Robert A Fox Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania, Rosenwald has discussed politics on CNN, NPR, and Sirius XM Radio and had work appear in CNN, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Baltimore Sun, the Daily Beast, and Time Magazine. His work often examines the intersections of history, political science, media studies, and communications, and his first book, Talk Radio’s America, was developed from a doctoral dissertation. Talk Radio’s America explores the Republican Party’s success with talk radio and how it may have paved the way for Donald Trump’s presidency. He earned the 2006 Philo S. Bennett Prize for Best American Politics Thesis.
