Chip Kidd is an award-winning graphic designer and writer most recognized for his book covers for the publishing house Alfred A. Knopf. He’s worked with writers including John Updike, Katharine Hepburn, Cormac McCarthy, David Sedaris, and Haruki Murakami. Kidd is also an editor and art director for Pantheon Graphic Library. His own works include the novel The Cheese Monkeys (2001) and Go: A Kidd’s Guide to Graphic Design (2014).
