Robert Wiesenberger

Robert Wiesenberger is Associate Curator of Contemporary Projects at the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts, where he also teaches in the graduate program in art history at Williams College. Before moving to the Berkshires he was, from 2013–2018, a Critic at the Yale School of Art, teaching in the MFA program in graphic design. Robert worked from 2014–2016 as the Stefan Engelhorn Curatorial Fellow at the Harvard Art Museums, where he developed the online research collection “The Bauhaus.” He is the co-author of Muriel Cooper (MIT Press, 2017), and has authored catalogue essays for the Harvard Art Museums, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Walker Art Center. He holds a PhD in art history from Columbia University and a BA in history and Germanic studies from the University of Chicago.
